Privia Health Welcomes Lance V. Berberian to its Board of Directors
Privia Health, one of the largest physician enablement companies in the United States, has announced the appointment of Lance V. Berberian to its Board of Directors. The appointment, effective from July 15, 2025, will expand the Board to 10 directors.
Lance Berberian brings extensive technology strategy and digital transformation experience to Privia Health. He has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO) at Labcorp Holdings Inc. since February 15, 2020. In this role, he oversaw the company's information technology and digital transformation strategies, enabling Labcorp—a leading laboratory services company—to support its operations across diagnostics and biopharma laboratory services.
Berberian's accomplishments at Labcorp are significant. While specific achievements are not listed, given his senior role as CITO, he would typically be expected to lead initiatives around technology modernization, data management, and innovation in laboratory informatics, supporting Labcorp's wide range of diagnostic and specialty testing services.
Before his tenure at Labcorp, Berberian held prior senior IT leadership roles in comparable industries, focusing on enterprise technology leadership and digital innovation. However, detailed information about his earlier positions is not readily available.
Berberian holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and information technology from Thomas Edison State College. His expertise includes IT governance, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, AI, product development, and data management. He currently serves on the Elon University Board of Trustees.
David King, Chairman of the Board at Privia Health Group, Inc., is excited about the addition of Berberian to the Board. "Lance's deep understanding of technology and digital transformation will be a valuable asset to Privia Health as we continue to innovate and improve healthcare delivery," King said.
