Quantron AG Aims for Emission-Free Transportation Leadership in 2023

Quantron AG, a specialist in emission-free passenger and freight transportation, has announced its plans for the year ahead. The company, which successfully closed its A-Round with up to 45 million euros in cash-in, aims to establish itself as a technology leader in the emission-free transport of people and goods.

During the first QUANTRON Tech Day, Quantron AG presented its results from the past year and its plans for 2023. The company recorded a turnover of approximately 13 million euros in 2022, an increase of around 25% compared to the previous year. Michael Perschke, CEO of Quantron AG, expressed confidence in the continued rapid positive development and successful implementation of Quantron's internationalisation strategy in 2023.

In 2023, Quantron AG plans a sales revenue guidance of around 45-60 million euros with a target order volume of 360 vehicles. The company aims to increase its workforce by 30% to around 150 employees, having already increased it by 89% in 2022. R&D spending will double in 2023, with a focus on H2-powered fuel cell trucks.

Quantron AG positions itself globally as a partner to existing OEMs, offering solutions for trucks, buses, and vans with all-electric drive trains and H2-powered fuel cell technology. The company plans to intensify its focus on the development of its ecosystem, Quantron-as-a-Service, which offers a holistic solution for the transition to zero-emission vehicles.

The financing round A of Quantron AG in 2023 involved participation from financial institutions including Odewald KMU, Zouk Capital, and co-investors. Andreas Haller, Founder and Executive Chairman of Quantron AG, did not make any specific statements in this paragraph.

Quantron AG, as a platform provider and specialist in sustainable mobility, combines more than 140 years of commercial vehicle experience with the latest e-mobility know-how. Despite the difficult economic situation, the company is optimistic about its future and its role in the transition to sustainable transportation solutions.
