Regional Journalists and Bloggers Competition Results Announced by Rostelecom
The 14th Regional Journalists and Bloggers Contest "Together into the Digital Future" concluded with an award ceremony held in St. Petersburg. The event, which focused on innovative developments and technological trends in the IT and telecom sector, attracted 1200 participants who submitted 1715 applications across five main and three special categories.
In the "Print Media" category, Victoria Golovko from the informational-analytical newspaper "Mолот", Rostov region, won for her article "QR Code Outsold the Salesperson". Kirill Zaitsev from portal 66.RU, Sverdlovsk region, took the top spot in the "Internet Media" category with his article "Russian Smartphone on Secure OS. Unboxing 'Aurora' that wants to replace your iOS and Android".
The "Social Media" category saw Aleksandra Savelykina from blog platform "Zen", channel "Papa, Ne Goryui", Bryansk region, emerge victorious for her post "Taking Control: How Our Dads Invented the Smart Home". Yevgeniy Moiseiko from GTRK "Vologda" won in the "Radio and Podcasts" category for his podcast "Main: Remote Fraud".
Alexander Filimonenko, editor of the Far Eastern branch of "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" from Khabarovsk, won in the special category "Russian Solutions for the IT Industry: Challenges and Prospects". In the "Television and Video Content in Media" category, Viktor Shepelev from GTRK "Samara" won for the content "Aerotaxis".
Maria Murashko from "Amurskaya Pravda" received 2nd place in the "Print Media" category, and Yuri Zolotarev, a Rutube blogger from the Khabarovsk region, received 3rd place in the "Social Media" category.
The federal stage winners of the main categories will join the winners of the special category on a press tour to the Irkutsk region in August. The tour includes visits to cultural sites and attractions of Lake Baikal, as well as technological facilities of "Rostelecom" clients.
