Revamped DS No4 E-Tense, counterpart to the Peugeot E-308, reveals pricing and features details
The French automobile brand, DS Automobiles, has recently introduced a new electric model to the market – the DS No4 E-Tense. This latest addition was unveiled in 2025 and is now open for order in the UK, with the first deliveries scheduled for September 2025.
The DS No4 E-Tense is powered by a single 211bhp electric motor and a 58.3kWh battery, offering a range of 279 miles. The new model is positioned to compete with the Tesla Model Y in the electric SUV segment.
The DS No4, formerly known as the DS4, has undergone a makeover and is now available in an electric version called the DS No4 E-Tense. The electric DS No4 is also available as a 146bhp Hybrid. Prices for the DS No4 E-Tense start at £36,995 for the Pallas trim, £39,160 for the Pallas +, and £41,860 for the range-topping Etoile. The Hybrid No4 starts at £32,200.
Entry-level Pallas models of the DS No4 come with a pair of 10.0′′ screens, dual climate, LED headlights, and front double glazing. Pallas + models offer additional features such as Sat Nav, AI Voice, wireless phone charging, keyless entry, and a heat pump. The Etoile models come with Alcantara, HUD, full double glazing, and Matrix LED headlights.
The DS E-Tense Concept, debuted at the Geneva Motor Show, may indicate the direction for DS's future. This electric GT boasts a powerful 396bhp and was revealed a year after DS became a standalone Citroen brand. The DS 3, initially created through a bit of badge engineering for Citroen to create the DS3, has since departed the Citroen lineup following the brand's move to turn DS into a standalone brand.
Recently, the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense has received an update to increase its real-world range. The new electric DS No8 is also now open for order in the UK.
As DS Automobiles continues to expand its electric vehicle offerings, the DS No4 E-Tense promises to be a significant addition to its lineup, offering stylish design, impressive performance, and a competitive range.
