Revamped FLP02 Model by Silverstone: Classic Design Revives Turbo Button Feature

Silverstone, a renowned name in the tech industry, has announced the launch of a unique tower case that pays homage to the computers of the 1990s. The FLP02, with its retro turbo button and design inspired by Intel's x86 and early Pentium CPUs, promises to be a standout addition to any tech enthusiast's collection.

Key Features of the FLP02

The FLP02 boasts a fan hub on the back panel that can control up to eight fans, providing excellent cooling capabilities. It also features an I/O panel hidden under a flap over the drive bays, offering 2 USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1), 1 USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type C, and HD-Audio ports for seamless connectivity.

The case is made of plastic and steel, ensuring durability, and its dimensions are 472 × 232 × 494 mm, giving it a capacity of 54.09 liters. Weighing approximately 9.79 kg, the FLP02 is a substantial piece of hardware.

The FLP02 supports CPU coolers up to 182mm in height and graphics cards up to 386mm in length, with the use of drive cages limiting the length of graphics cards to 279mm. It also has 7 expansion slots, ensuring ample room for future upgrades.

The case also includes dust filters for Top, Front, and Power Supply, ensuring the internal components remain clean and free from debris. The FLP02 has drive bays including 3 × 5.25" (external) and 2 × 3.5"/2.5" (internal) and 2 × 3.5" (internal) and 2 × 2.5" (internal), providing plenty of storage options.
