Revamped our site using Google Drive integration
In an effort to streamline social media management tasks, our platform has integrated Google Drive, allowing users to upload, edit, and schedule media directly from our website to their social channels. This latest addition follows the rollout of Dropbox and Unsplash integrations in late 2022.
By consolidating various media platforms, our website offers a single platform for social media management teams to manage all their work. This integration simplifies the process of uploading media, reducing the number of steps required for managing media.
To utilise Google Drive for media uploading, users are invited to navigate to the Media Library in the Resources section and click the 'Upload' button. Alternatively, Google Drive can be connected from the side Resources section of the Calendar tab or from the major Resources tab itself.
Once uploaded, media can be scheduled or customised using editing features. Users can select media files and click the 'Upload' button to upload them to our website. Connecting Google Drive from the Calendar tab also allows direct drag-and-drop of media into the calendar.
While a standard Google account with access to Google Drive APIs and appropriate OAuth 2.0 authorization is sufficient for using Google Drive integration on our website, Google Workspace plans are recommended for enhanced API usage limits and administrative controls.
The Google Drive integration is designed to help social media managers and small business owners simplify their post scheduling. Visual content is a key element of high engagement on social media posts, and this integration simplifies media management for social media teams.
It's worth noting that Google Drive integration is available only in the paid plans on our website. Users on the free plan are encouraged to upgrade to premium plans to access Google Drive and other advanced features.
In conclusion, the integration of Google Drive and other media platforms on our website addresses the challenge of managing multiple media sources by consolidating them into one platform. This integration aims to reduce the complexity of social media management tasks, making it easier for users to create and schedule visually engaging posts.
