SAIC Acquires SilverEdge for $205M, Boosting Digital Transformation and AI Capabilities
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has agreed to acquire SilverEdge Government Solutions for $205 million in cash. The deal, expected to close in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, will strengthen SAIC's position as a premier mission integrator.
SilverEdge, known for its mission-driven technology solutions and products, serves the U.S. intelligence and defense communities. Its capabilities span digital transformation, generative artificial intelligence, and data analytics. The company's flagship product suite, SOAR, offers customizable, low-risk software solutions through commercial marketplaces.
Recently, SilverEdge unveiled MynAI, a secure and responsible agentic AI product designed for highly regulated and secured government environments. SAIC's acquisition of SilverEdge reflects its commitment to pursuing strategic investments in accretive and complementary tuck-ins.
The acquisition of SilverEdge by SAIC, from Godspeed Capital, will bolster SAIC's offerings in digital transformation and AI, further cementing its status as a leading mission integrator in the government sector.
