Sales Representative for WordPress Support Services

WPMU DEV, a leading WordPress service provider, is currently on the hunt for a dedicated WordPress Sales Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role combines administrative and analytical tasks related to WordPress product sales with technical and customer support for WordPress sites and related products.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all areas of the company, including sales and technical teams, and will be responsible for lead generation, providing support to customers, maintaining CRM hygiene, managing inbound and outbound sales communications, and conducting Zoom calls with clients.

In addition to these sales support duties, the specialist will also be expected to assist clients in troubleshooting WordPress issues, perform updates, manage and optimize WordPress and WooCommerce websites, and maintain security best practices.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a degree in computer science, web development, or a related field, and have extensive experience with WordPress development and support. A strong knowledge of the WordPress and WooCommerce ecosystems, familiarity with backend technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and server-side performance, and front-end skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are essential.

Candidates should also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously, and team collaboration in remote or hybrid environments.

The compensation and benefits package is competitive, with rejuvenation time-off, an annual bonus based on company growth targets, and opportunities for paid travel to attend WordCamps and other industry conferences. After 10 years of service, the specialist can take long service leaves (3 months off paid). The technology budget increases with the length of service, and there is a general expenses budget yearly that increases with the length of employment.

The work environment is flexible, and the company expects staff to work 40 hours a week, but additional hours can be worked if desired. The specialist will work on weekends, with schedules including 10:00 pm - 6:00 am UTC and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm UTC.
