Season 2 Trailer of Hit-Monkey Unveils Chaos in NYC, Infernal Destruction, and Family Gathering

Sound off, folks! It's time to talk about Hit-Monkey's highly-anticipated comeback. If you're scratching your head, wondering what in the world we're talking about, let me catch you up!

Hit-Monkey, the rated-R, animated Hulu series, launched back in 2021, and you won't need a time machine to jump back in on the action. The tale revolves around two key characters: the lethal monkey assassin and the spectral human mentor, a duo guaranteed to dish out some serious mayhem wherever they tread.

The first season 2 teaser introduces Iris, played by Cristin Milioti, who turns out to be the long-lost daughter of Bryce (Jason Sudeikis), Hit-Monkey's ghostly guide. In a daring move for a ghost, Bryce even decides to step into the underworld's hotzone to regain his fleshly form, as shown in the trailer.

So, what's the deal with these Japanese macaques gone rogue? Here's the scoop: "In the heart of New York City, a monkey escapes his murderous ways, while Bryce tries to make amends for the harm he's caused in his past. But will these cleansing attempts come at a cost?" As if that wasn't enough, it looks like the bad guys are cranking up their villainy, upping the stakes for our primate sodier.

The cast is rounding out for season 2, with Leslie Jones joining the ranks as Bryce's former agent. Fan-favorites Olivia Munn and Ally Maki will also reprise their roles. Hit-Monkey shares some similar DNA with the late, great Archer, as it was co-created and executive produced by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, and animated by Floyd County Productions, a studio well-versed in creating animated chaos.

Mark your calendars, folks, as season 2 of Hit-Monkey will drop on Hulu July 15. Planning to catch the mayhem this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
