In a significant move, Shade Innovations, a division dedicated to window covering solutions, has announced the launch of its latest advancements in motor and control technologies. The focus is on creating smart, energy-efficient, and quiet motorized solutions designed for automated window treatments.

The new motor lineup features RF, Zigbee/RF, and RF/PoE options, marking a leap forward in IoT connectivity. Notably, Shade Innovations' new motors are the industry's first bilingual motors with RF integrated into the motor head.

The latest advancements also include smart home integration, allowing control via voice commands and mobile apps, compatible with platforms like Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit. Energy-efficient motors, including solar-powered options, promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact. Quiet operation motors provide smooth, noise-free functionality suitable for residential and commercial environments.

In-house Design Services have expanded to meet growing dealer demand, with Shade Innovations onboarding 30-40 new dealers each month. These design services help new dealers quickly learn the shade business and avoid costly pitfalls common when working with other shade companies. Dealers can benefit from live online training sessions to stay up to date and maximise success through The SI Way program.

Shade Innovations has also expanded its shade manufacturing by automating and retooling its production line in Austin, Texas. The new production line includes a state-of-the-art cut table with 30' seamless glass that automatically cauterises all fabrics for better edge quality.

The NiñoTM 2 line, priced at half the cost of the competition, is set to revolutionise the market. The line includes SI Roller, Duo Roller, Romans, Woven Woods, Cellular, and Zebra window coverings, all powered by Shade Innovations' motors. Shade Innovations' expansion of its shade production in the U.S. has been timed to reduce concerns around tariffs.
