The role of the mid-level Fullstack Engineer in this dynamic team is to help shape the future of Usersnap, which is evolving from a feedback collection tool into a comprehensive platform for product managers, enhanced with AI. This position is part of the Usersnap team, a brand within saas.group.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, user-facing features primarily on the backend and occasionally on the frontend. This includes taking ownership of key new backend components in Python to support AI-based user feedback analysis, implementing and shipping new features to support user segmentation and behavioral insights, and building integrations with third-party product analytics and other tools to provide a unified product intelligence layer.
The ideal candidate should have a product mindset, able to think from the user's perspective and collaborate with product managers and designers. They should also possess frontend experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks. Infrastructure knowledge, including comfort with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud-based deployments, is essential, with familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code (AWS CDK) being a strong advantage.
Testing & Quality is another crucial aspect of the role. The engineer should have experience with unit and integration testing, code linting, and writing clean, maintainable code. saas.group values a small & friendly team, with a collaborative environment where team members help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
