Sony's 'Ghost of Yotei' Launches in India, Day-One Patch Fixes Issues
Sony has launched Ghost of Tsushima, a PlayStation 5 exclusive, in India. The developer, Sucker Punch Productions, released a substantial day-one patch (Version 1.006) to improve performance and fix issues. The update, positioned as essential by Sony, was rolled out on the game's release date, October 2, 2025.
Ghost of Tsushima is available in two versions: Standard Edition (Rs 4,999) and Deluxe Edition (Rs 5,599). The game was released with a midnight launch at PlayStation stores in Delhi on October 2. The patch includes fixes for technical glitches, gameplay balance, and performance improvements in ray tracing mode and high ghost count missions. Camera behavior during combat and exploration has been refined for better fluidity. Balance changes have been made to weapons, charms, and enemy encounters. Photo mode has been enhanced with new stamps and environmental particles. Bugs in mini-games, duels, stealth kills, and mission progression have been resolved.
Sony encourages players to install the update immediately, especially disc owners. The version 1.006 update, containing important fixes and performance improvements, ensures a smoother gaming experience for Ghost of Tsushima players.
