Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG Unveils Sustainable New Office Building
On June 11, 2025, Landrat Peter Dreier, the economic advisor of the Landshut district, Ludwig Goetz, visited Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG in Bayerbach. The occasion was the inauguration of the company's new office building, designed and built by Gaissmayr Architekt.
The new office building, a testament to Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG's forward-looking claim, houses the Baubetrieb department of the company. The building was constructed entirely in sustainable timber frame construction, reflecting the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG, a traditional family business based in Bayerbach with over 140 years of history, is one of the leading providers in the areas of heating, sanitation, and civil engineering in the region, from Lower Bavaria to the Munich region. The company employs around 150 people.
Mayor Werner Klanikow of the Bayerbach municipality also attended the visit. Landrat Peter Dreier expressed admiration for Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG's broad range of services, stable order situation, and strong employee loyalty. He considered the company a prime example of entrepreneurial stability, innovative strength, and regional responsibility.
Dreier commended the training, bonding, and future-building efforts at Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG, which have been ongoing for generations. As a token of appreciation for the long-standing commitment in the Landshut district, he presented Christian Rieder, the managing director of Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG, with a small gift.
The focus of the visit was on the newly constructed office building for the civil engineering division. In the future, around 40 households in the surrounding area will be supplied with environmentally friendly heat via the office building's own district heating network.
The new office building symbolises Ludwig Rieder GmbH & Co. KG's commitment to sustainability and innovation, and its close connection to the region. It serves as a belated congratulation on the inauguration of the new office building, and a reminder of the company's enduring legacy in the district.
