Tesla, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its "Everyday Hero" discount program to Canada. This program offers a significant discount for first responders, educators, and students, recognizing their contributions to the community.

The Canadian version of the program, also known as the Canadian Heroes discount, provides a $1,000 CAD discount on any Tesla vehicle. The eligible groups include first responders, teachers, and students, making it an inclusive initiative.

The discount can be combined with Tesla's referral program, offering additional benefits such as a 3-month free trial of Full Self-Driving (FSD) and Tesla Credits. The program is available for all Tesla vehicles, including the Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck.

To avail of the discount, you must apply it at the time of purchase, as it cannot be retroactively applied to previous orders. The discount is automatically applied before taxes at checkout.

The Tesla referral link, if used, will provide the buyer with three months of Full Self-Driving (FSD) when purchasing a new vehicle. However, it must be noted that the referral link is specific to providing free months of FSD and not a cash discount.

To verify your eligibility and begin designing your vehicle with the discount, visit Tesla's website. This secure online platform, ID.me, will handle the verification process.

The "Everyday Hero" discount program in Canada is an ongoing initiative, with the referral program set to end on September 30, 2025. This program follows in the footsteps of the U.S. version, which earlier this month expanded from a military-only discount into a broader initiative titled "Made in America for Everyday Heroes."
