Title: Introducing the Monsterly RTX 50-Series GPUs, Headlined by the Gargantuan RTX 5090

Nvidia has officially unveiled its highly anticipated RTX 50-series graphics cards. If you somehow managed to dodge the multitude of rumors and leaks surrounding these mighty, colossal, and power-hungry GPUs, then you're in for a treat.

The new lineup consists of the usual suspects, with the powerful RTX 5070, 5070 Ti, 5080, and top-tier 5090 taking center stage. Interestingly, Nvidia has for the first time decided to roll out a "titanium" edition card alongside the main model, providing users with more options upfront.

As you might have guessed, these are Nvidia's most expensive cards to date. The RTX 4090 will retail for a hefty $1,600. To help soften the blow, Nvidia has also deemed the RTX 5070 a budget-friendly option at $550. The RTX 5070 Ti will cost $750, while the 5080 boasts a price tag of $1,000.

During its presentation in the Michelob Ultra arena at the Mandalay Bay casino, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang seemingly embraced his celebrity status. Huang's company's AI training chips have contributed to Nvidia becoming one of the world's most profitable tech companies. AI remained a key theme throughout Huang's presentation, contributing to the seemingly outlandish specifications of the new RTX cameras.

Huang claimed that RTX 5070 users, even on laptops, could anticipate performance equivalent to the RTX 4090. The company credits its Tensor cores and AI technology for this remarkable feat.

"GeForce brought AI to the masses," Huang declared. "Now we’re bringing AI to GeForce."

The elite Blackwell cards will offer an impressive 380 RT TFLOPS and 125 shader TFLOPS, along with a 1.8 TB/s memory bandwidth. While details on CUDA cores and VRAM numbers remain to be seen, it's safe to say that the RTX 5090 is roughly 50% more powerful than its predecessor, the RTX 4090.

To add to the excitement, Nvidia also introduced a new AI-enhanced software suite for DLSS 4. This includes updated ray reconstruction and super resolution models, with the aid of AI transformer models.

Prepare for big cases and even bigger price tags if you're planning on integrating the RTX 5090 into your hardware setup. Meanwhile, the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 offer power that surpasses their predecessors from two years ago.

The new Blackwell cards are expected to hit the market within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, no mention was made of any more budget-friendly options, which we can expect to see a few months down the line with the arrival of the RTX 5050, 5060, and 5060 Ti.
