Snap One, now part of ADI, along with Sunbelt Technology, collaborate to deliver an unparalleled AV and automation experience at The Painted Pickle. Having successfully completed three projects with this dynamic duo, Sunbelt was keenly familiar with the ADI/Snap One brands - Control4, WattBox, Luma, OvrC, and Araknis. This familiarity ensured that the team could easily understand the client's expectations and craft the systems needed for a seamless pickleball adventure.
The end result was a state-of-the-art, multi-zone AV system that wrapped pickleball enthusiasts in immersive music, video, and entertainment, whether they were on the courts or relaxing elsewhere in the venue. The 50 commercial-grade speakers, strategically installed from the rafters, ensured a harmonious soundscape that didn't disrupt pickleball games. Meanwhile, Episode speakers concealed in the ceilings of the restaurant, sushi bar, cocktail bar, putt-putt course, and shuffleboard court created a clean and cohesive aesthetic. A Control4 system worked its magic, distributing audio to every speaker and activating over 20 TVs with the simple touch of an "All On" button on a Control4 touchpad.
Sunbelt Technology knew that technology should strive to simplify, not complicate. Thus, they designed an intuitive system that catered to employees of all technical levels. With Control4's Composer Pro software, the team could tweak the systems remotely from their office, or anywhere else, at any time; no need for on-site visits. They also employed WattBox IP controllable power distribution units, which allowed the team to remotely reset systems every Sunday, ensuring everything operated optimally and saving valuable time, resources, and effort.
Aside from its competitive offerings, The Painted Pickle also hosts numerous social events. Sunbelt Technology saw to it that technology backed these too. A dedicated theater space, boasting a high-performance projection system and surround-sound, was perfect for hosting movie screenings and live performances. Staff could easily distribute audio and video from this main entertainment area to other parts of the venue, ensuring no one missed out on the fun.
A reliable Wi-Fi connection was vital at The Painted Pickle, facilitating the smooth operation of management systems, AV technology, and the point-of-sale (POS) system. Araknis IP switches and Wattbox power distribution units played a crucial role, as they enabled remote access to reset the POS system or change IP settings if necessary.
