UAE Launches Elite Fellowship Program in Economic Strategy and AI
The UAE has launched an ambitious initiative to enhance its government workforce's expertise in economic strategy and artificial intelligence. Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, announced the programme, reflecting the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
The initiative will see 200 fellows selected from government entities across the UAE, equally divided between two specialised master's programmes. These are offered at Sciences Po and École Polytechnique, two prestigious French institutions renowned for their global rankings and record in executive education and public sector innovation. The programmes, in Economic Strategy and International Policy, and Artificial Intelligence for the Government Sector, will be delivered in collaboration with world-leading universities such as Oxford, MIT, Georgetown, NYU, and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
Graduates of these programmes will be equipped to design forward-looking policies, manage digital transformation projects, and drive initiatives that enhance the UAE's global competitiveness.
The UAE's initiative aligns with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's long-term commitment to lifelong learning and positions the UAE as a global leader in governance, innovation, and sustainable development. By investing in advanced expertise in economic strategy and artificial intelligence, the UAE aims to strengthen its government workforce and stay ahead in the rapidly evolving global landscape.
