Ultraviolette Expands Retail Network, Introduces Ballistic+ Mode for F77

Ultraviolette, the Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, has taken a significant step forward in its growth by expanding its retail network and introducing a new performance mode for its F77 electric motorcycle. The company has launched new experience centers, called UV Space Stations, in Rajasthan (Jaipur) and West Bengal (Kolkata and Berhampore) for the first time, alongside centers in Madurai and a second one in Bengaluru (Yelahanka).

These centers provide comprehensive services including test rides, vehicle delivery, post-sales service, and spare parts support. Operated through local dealer partners, they aim to ensure service and operational scalability as part of Ultraviolette's broader ambition to reach 100 Indian cities by FY2026. This move aligns with recent upgrades to product technology and the company's global debut in Europe.

CEO Narayan Subramaniam emphasized the expansion as a reflection of agility and long-term planning, focusing on building a scalable and consistent customer experience with robust sales and service ecosystems.

The software upgrade for the F77 electric motorbike series includes the new Gen3 Powertrain Firmware, designed to enhance throttle response and performance. This firmware is based on data collected by the company's proprietary Violette A.I. system, which monitors over 3,000 parameters during a ride, including acceleration patterns, terrain inputs, and rider behavior.

The F77, a part of the electric vehicles segment in India, now offers a new experience with the addition of the Ballistic+ riding mode. This mode, added as part of the software update, promises improved performance and an exhilarating ride.

The MACH 2 model of the F77 includes features of safety and convenience such as traction control, regenerative braking with 10 levels of adjustability, hill-hold assist, and the inclusion of Violette A.I. to enable adaptive system behavior. The MACH 2 model has a top speed of 155 kmph and a price of ₹ 2.99 Lakhs.

Ultraviolette's electric motorcycle segment also includes the Shockwave model, which has a top speed of 120 kmph and a price of ₹ 1.50 Lakhs. The company is also working on an upcoming model, the F99, with a top speed of 265 kmph and a price of ₹ 8 Lakhs.

This expansion into Rajasthan and West Bengal marks new geographic markets for Ultraviolette, improving brand presence and customer engagement in these emerging markets. It represents a significant strategic step in Ultraviolette’s growth by enhancing accessibility and support infrastructure outside its traditional strongholds.
