The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is set to make its debut earlier than ever, with an anticipated release date in August or early September 2025 [1][2][3]. This earlier launch is part of Samsung's strategy to boost sales momentum and make room for other device launches later in the year [1][3].
The S25 FE is rumored to come with a sleek 7.4mm measurement, following in the footsteps of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 [2]. It will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate [2], similar to its counterparts in the S25 series.
Under the hood, the S25 FE is expected to use the Exynos 2400 SoC, a two-year-old chip [2][3]. However, there are some discrepancies, with one source mentioning the Exynos 2500 [2][3][4]. Regardless, the S25 FE is set to offer flagship-level performance.
In terms of storage, the S25 FE will reportedly come in two RAM/storage variations: 8/128GB and 8/256GB [2]. The device will also boast an advanced camera setup, featuring a 50 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultrawide, and an 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom [2][3]. The selfie camera is said to be a 12MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture [2][3].
The S25 FE has received Qi2 wireless charging certification at 15W [2]. Interestingly, the S25 FE's triple camera array will reportedly feature silver rings around it, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, while the flagship S25 series will retain black rings [2][3].
The S25 FE is also rumored to go through the WPC for Qi2 certification [2]. It is speculated that the launch of the S25 FE could coincide with the Galaxy Tab S11 series in September [2]. However, no specific details about the S25 FE's appearance have been confirmed yet, as the device is still in the rumor stage.
