Unveiling the Authentic Tones of Helix Stadium: Line 6 reveals the sonic experience of their groundbreaking audio technology

Line 6, the industry leader in amp modeling, has announced a new evolution in their technology with the introduction of the Agoura modeling software. This significant step forward promises to deliver enhanced realism, dynamic response, and improved tonal depth in their latest product, the Helix Stadium.

The Helix Stadium, expected to be released this winter, is set to revolutionize the usage and tone of amp and effects modeling. The new software replaces the long-standing HX modeling technology used in previous Helix modelers, promising a revolution in tonal realism.

According to Line 6, the Agoura modeling software feels more realistic under the fingers, with the tone reacting dynamically to the player's touch and picking intensity. This allows the sound to change dramatically when playing harder or softer, creating a more expressive and musical experience.

The Agoura modeling engine offers a more three-dimensional and immersive sound, enhancing the authenticity and warmth of tube amp simulations even though it is digital. This improvement is made possible by the combination of advanced DSP hardware and the Agoura software, which supports the improved sound fidelity and responsiveness to playing dynamics.

The Helix Stadium will run on the Helix Stadium and Helix Stadium XL Floor processors, which feature new 3D graphics for each model and a user interface optimized for quick access and editing using capacitive touch footswitches.

One of the standout features of the Helix Stadium is its all-in-one gig rig solutions. The device will control stage lights, video, and MIDI changes, making it an attractive option for live performers beyond its tonal capabilities alone.

The Helix Stadium includes models such as the Brit Plexi amp, based on a classic Marshall, and features Impulse Responses, 4x12 Greenback30 cabs, a compressor, delay pedal, and plate reverb.

Eric Klein, Line 6's chief product design, stated that Agora is not an enhanced version of HX, but an entirely new subcomponent behavioral modeling methodology. This includes all-new sag, bias, ripple behavior simulation, as well as accurate and detailed models of circuit feedback and detailed parameters of actual tubes used in amps.

With its revolutionary new Agoura modeling software, the Line 6 Helix Stadium is poised to be a game-changer in the world of amp and effects modeling. For more information, visit the Line 6 website.
