Updated Outlook lessens initial disdain experienced by user
Hey there! Check out the awesome updates Microsoft has made to their Outlook app! If you've got the latest version and a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can access Copilot Pro or use AI credits.
Here's what's new:
- Email Coaching with Copilot: Need help perfecting your emails? Copilot can suggest improvements to the tone, clarity, and reader sentiment of your messages before you hit send.
- Multi-Account Support: Say goodbye to logging in and out! Copilot features are now available across all connected email accounts when you're logged into Outlook on the same device, including Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, MSN.com, Gmail, Yahoo, and iCloud.
- Summarization and Review: Tired of reading through lengthy attachments? Copilot can quickly summarize Word, PowerPoint, or PDF files right in Outlook.
- Control and Customization: Want to disable Copilot or customize its features? Easy peasy! You can manage all that through the Outlook Copilot control page.
As for the app updates, there's plenty to be excited about! You can now:
- Reply and forward emails in a .pst file (Outlook Data File)
- Move emails between accounts
- Search for folders while offline
- Use offline "Days of email to save" expanded to 30 days
- Perform offline search folders
- Undo send while offline
- Add shared folders to Favorites
