Vianode Clears Path for Large-Scale EV Battery Production
Vianode, a Norwegian battery materials company, has received full approval for commercial delivery from Via ONE. This clears the path for scaling up production at Via TWO, a significant step towards large-scale manufacturing.
Via ONE's materials have proven to meet stringent chemical anode material requirements. They excel in first cycle efficiency, fast charge, and capacity, making them ideal for electric vehicle (EV) batteries.
The Via ONE plant in Norway has already begun producing materials for industrial-scale production. Vianode achieved this milestone in collaboration with Freyr, an OEM with whom they completed product qualification. Production at the Norwegian factory started in 2023.
Vianode's anode graphite has been qualified by a leading OEM, demonstrating its readiness for use in EV batteries. With full approval from Via ONE, Vianode is poised to ramp up production at Via TWO, bringing its innovative battery materials closer to mass market adoption.
