VinFast Philippines, V-Green, and Green GSM Philippines have formed a strategic alliance with BDO to boost electric mobility in the Philippines.

In a significant move to promote electric mobility and improve transport systems in the Philippines, BDO Unibank Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with VinFast Philippines, V-Green, Green GSM Philippines, and other key players. The collaboration aims to make electric vehicles (EVs) more accessible to Filipino consumers and businesses, while also supporting the expansion and operations of the partnering companies in the Philippine market.

The partnership, which extends beyond vehicles, includes plans for expansion across Alfamart outlets, educational institutions, and other strategic locations within the BDO-SM ecosystem. This holistic approach to electric mobility spans from EV distribution to charging infrastructure development and electric car operations.

VinFast Philippines, a fast-growing electric car manufacturer, will leverage BDO's financial solutions for tailored financing programs for both retail and corporate customers. This will help VinFast to further penetrate the Philippine market and cater to a wider range of consumers.

V-Green Charging Station Development Philippines Inc., a pioneer in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, is partnering with BDO to fast-track the deployment of convenient and reliable charging solutions in the Philippines. This partnership will ensure that EV owners have easy access to charging facilities, thereby promoting the widespread adoption of electric cars.

Green GSM Philippines, operator of the country's first all-electric taxi fleet, has integrated with BDO's digital banking platform since June 2025. Green and Smart Mobility Philippines Inc., the company behind Green GSM, is committed to delivering cleaner, safer, and more transparent public transport in the Philippines. The partnership with BDO strengthens driver support and enables sustainable car fleet expansion.

Mr. Dao Quy Phi, CEO of Green GSM Philippines, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it strengthens driver support and enables sustainable car fleet expansion. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong, CEO of V-Green, emphasized the importance of charging infrastructure for sustainable EV growth.

Charles M. Rodriguez, BDO Unibank's Executive Vice President, highlighted the collaboration's goal to support the broader adoption of electric cars and the development of green infrastructure in the Philippines. He stated that the agreement signifies a broader push to accelerate the country's transition towards cleaner energy.

The partnership between these companies signifies a significant step towards reducing emissions and modernizing urban transportation in the Philippines. By making electric cars more accessible, the partnership will contribute to a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future for the country.
