VOVE ID Secures Investment from The Baobab Network for African Expansion

Moroccan reg-tech startup, VOVE ID, has secured fresh investment from The Baobab Network. Launched in 2025, the startup has swiftly made its mark in the global KYC industry, valued at $18.6 billion.

VOVE ID's innovative platform enables users to utilise a single, verified digital identity across multiple services. This streamlines onboarding processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The startup's inclusion in The Baobab Network's accelerator program will provide strategic guidance and connections to help navigate regulatory hurdles and accelerate growth.

The new funding, though the exact amount remains undisclosed, will be used to expand VOVE ID's reach across Africa and the Middle East. This expansion will involve enhancing the platform and growing the team. VOVE ID offers a secure, AI-powered Know Your Customer (KYC) solution for digital identity verification, setting it apart from other African players like SmileID, Dojah, and IdentityPass.

VOVE ID's recent investment from The Baobab Network, planned for distribution in the first quarter of 2023, is a significant step forward. The funding will support VOVE ID's mission to expand its reach and enhance its platform, solidifying its position in the competitive digital identity verification sector.
