To activate Advanced Chat Privacy, users should ensure their WhatsApp app is updated to the most recent version and then proceed to the chat or group for which they wish to boost privacy. From the chat information screen, accessible by tapping on the chat name at the top, users can locate and toggle the Advanced Chat Privacy setting to 'On'.
