Wolt's public policy is led by Sepoetro.
Laurin Sepoetro has taken on a new role at Wolt, becoming the Head of Public Policy, Markets for the food delivery company. In this position, Sepoetro will be responsible for leading political efforts across the 28 countries where Wolt operates.
Sepoetro brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having worked in mobility and logistics at Amazon Logistics, Uber, and the European Parliament before joining Wolt. In his previous role at Wolt, he served as Director Public Policy for Germany, Austria, and Central and Eastern Europe. He will now expand his remit to cover a wider geographical area.
Wolt, which operates in 28 countries worldwide, has been working on building strategic partnerships to address sustainability and food security challenges across its European operations. While there are limited key public policy figures named in connection with Wolt, one prominent figure is Jamieson Saab, who serves as Wolt's Global Head of Sustainability. Saab has been actively engaged in strategic partnerships with entities like EIT Food and the European Federation of Food Banks (FEBA), focusing on sustainability and food security challenges.
In addition to Sepoetro and Saab, there are other roles within Wolt that support policy implementation at local and regional levels. For instance, the Workplace Manager role involves local stakeholder engagement and implementation of workplace policies related to safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency. The Operations Team Lead, on the other hand, leads onboarding and compliance-related processes for courier partners across multiple countries, which indirectly ties into regulatory and policy adherence but is more focused on operational execution than public policy formation.
Samuel Laurinkari is the VP that Sepoetro reports to at Wolt. With Sepoetro's appointment, Wolt continues to strengthen its political efforts and commitment to sustainability across its global operations.
