YAPEAL Welcomes New Director, Thanks Departing Members After General Assembly
YAPEAL, a Zurich-based fintech company founded in 2018, has announced changes to its Board of Directors following its General Assembly on 3 October. The company, which holds Switzerland's first fintech license issued by FINMA, has welcomed a new member while bidding farewell to two experienced directors.
Stephan Murer, former CTO of UBS, and Christoph Burkhard, an experienced software entrepreneur, continue to serve on the Board of YAPEAL. Joining them is Eva KüNZI, newly elected as an independent member. KüNZI brings extensive experience in legal, regulatory, and compliance matters to the Board. The company thanked Werner Vontobel and François Ruf for their significant contributions, particularly Vontobel's role in shaping YAPEAL's governance and compliance structures. Both have stepped down as part of the regular renewal process.
With these changes, YAPEAL looks forward to continued growth and innovation under the leadership of its new and returning Board members.
